Lucy

Tech Stack: Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AI Provider APIs, Observability

Lucy is a lightweight AI gateway built for SaaS companies and indie hackers that need a simple way to manage AI in production. The platform provides a single API for connecting to multiple AI providers while handling usage tracking, cost monitoring, rate limiting, caching, and failover behind the scenes. Unlike enterprise-focused solutions, Lucy is designed to be easy to deploy and operate, giving small teams the tools they need to build reliable AI-powered applications without the complexity of larger platforms. The project focuses on multi-tenant architecture, observability, reliability, and cost control for modern AI workloads.
